The Hilchrome 312R is a rutile-coated electrode, which is considered the problem solver for all steels, including stainless and very difficult to weld steels. Special applications for this WELDALL are: joining hard manganese steels, tool steels, spring steels, both for buffering and for dissimilar connections. The electrode leaves a crack-free filler material with an increased ferrite content of approximately FN50. The Hilchrome 312R is a core welding rod of all current types (AC/DC).
