Tungsten grinder Ultima TIG Ø1.6-3.2mm

The Ultima TIG electrode grinder is a professional device in which the sharpening stone rotates in a completely closed liquid bath. This prevents the dangerous tungsten abrasive from entering the environment because the dust is deposited in the liquid. The swarf settles in the liquid and when the collection container is full it can be easily disposed of.

Optimal welding quality.

Each TIG electrode must be sharpened correctly to ensure an optimal weld pool to ensure control. The Ultima TIG ensures a perfect longitudinally ground tungsten electrode. This gives you better ignition properties and welding results.

Economical in use.

The tip angle is extremely easy to set and guarantees minimal abrasion and therefore a longer life of the electrode. Most grinders can only sharpen 12 to 15 times, after which the tungsten electrode must be discarded. With a good setting, the Ultima does not grind more than 0.5 mm from the tungsten electrode per grinding.

No health risks.

With conventional grinding, even with an extraction system, it is impossible to prevent tungsten swarf from entering the lungs of the welder and the workshop. The completely closed system of the Ultima TIG prevents this 100%.
