Hilchrome 309R E309L-17

Hilchrome 309R is our rutile coated electrode for welding corrosive and heat resistant Cr/Ni steels, dissimilar steels and buffer layers. Particularly suitable for welding high-strength steels, unalloyed and low-alloyed treatable steels, stainless, ferritic chromium and austenitic chromium-nickel steels, austenitic manganese steels. Also suitable for plated steel. The FN content (FN ~16) guarantees good resistance to crack formation. Hilchrome 309R is a core wire alloyed electrode, for both direct and alternating current.
