The Pegas 220x250 GHE-R is a semi-automatic band saw with manual clamping.

The working movement of the saw arm is caused by the weight of the saw arm itself, the cutting speed is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder.

This machine is designed for cutting material in perpendicular and bevel cuts, the bevel cuts are infinitely adjustable from 0 to +60 degrees to the right. Angle change is done by means of a quick release lever.

It is used for piece production and small series production and thanks to its robust construction, it can cut a wide range of profiles and full materials.

Features

The saw is designed to withstand the stresses of production conditions. All supporting parts are designed as cast iron pieces against strength vibration and shock absorption. The saw arm, material clamp and turntable are made of cast iron.
The saw arm is inclined 25°, which prolongs the life of the saw blade. The saw arm is mounted in preloaded and adjustable bearings.
The lower working position of the saw arm is controlled by a cam and microswitch. Upon reaching the lower end position, the saw arm stops automatically. The saw arm is raised manually by the operator.
The material clamp is made of cast iron and the jaws ensure a firm clamping of the material. The manually operated material clamp sits in an adjustable groove.
The movement of the clamping jaw is done manually using a wheel and a trapezoidal screw.
The turntable is made of cast iron. The turntable provides a large space for supporting the material and clamping it accurately.
The turntable can be manually rotated from the table for angle cuts, angle fixation is done using a quick release lever.
